Seen these advertised on JML - has anyone used one? Reviews seem like chalk and cheese - noisy and useless or brilliant! Only want it to keep my legs warm sitting at the 'puter as my french doors have got more of a draft than the channel tunnel.

My opinion....having just looked at them....500w and plugged directly into a socket (no cable)...worth about £15 max.
The heated throw (above) would be a much better option...and, if you really do want a room heater, an oil-filled radiator would be my choice.
