And... Why on earth wouldn’t the EU 27 agree the deal.

Junker and co wrote it so they get the very best out of it and don’t have the pesky British putting their oar in.

Win win for the EU. Lose Lose for the UK.

"this is the greatest thing for Gibraltar in 300 years"

Who has said that?
The whole thing is a farce. Nothing apparently has changed: this seems to have been the usual electioneering stunt by the Spanish government. Spain had no veto over the deal tho they could have delayed the summit and made trouble later. But the future arrangements aren’t known anyway so even that threat seems lame.
Holy Jezus. Another post where Cassandra has boiled down EU law to over simplistic terms in an ignorant effort to explain the complexities of Brexit. Another chortle moment if it weren’t so tragically ignorant.
The Spanish PM said it was the greatest thing for 300 years, as he walked away carrying “assurances” from the British which are no different from the assurances they’d already been given. But it’ll look good to those people who don’t look too closely :-)
Apparently we’ve offered to swap Gib for Felixstowe.
Not a bad deal then. :-)
Will the apes be transferred to Suffolk so as to retain their British citizenship?
I believe Grimsby May be thrown in as a sweetener ;-)
I don’t think the Barbary apes have a say which isn’t very democratic
