This was never necessary when I was at school. Now that teachers have no other forms of control or discipline is it any wonder Isolation is the only way to protect the masses from the the disruptive minority. Now we have a "syndrome" for everything and no answers.

Discipline starts at home and I'm not talking about hitting I'm talking about instilling respect for elders and teachers. Parents are either too busy working or too ignorant or lazy to be bothered. The worst thing that could happen at school when I was young was your parents getting told you had misbehaved -these days parents come down to the school and abuse...

When I was at school (way back) the standard punishments were detention and the cane.They were seldom needed due to the teachers in those days commanding respect,
