Thanks for the support and good wishes, yes, a Sandstone Quarry, brand new setup, no employees or sandstone actually cut yet.

Strangest interview I've ever been to.

For starters it took us two hours to locate each other, remote rather large property, no phone service, signage, etc.

He wasn't interested in looking at resumes or references.
Had a good chat about what he wants, what I may be able to achieve.
More heavy earth moving equipment arriving in the next two weeks, call back, test drive, see how things pan out.

Something I've never been involved in, who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

I have enjoyed pottering around creating sticks of furniture for the last two years but maybe it's time for a real job.

Ten years of working life left in me, a new challenge would keep me occupied.

Still think I have at least one more road to take. Just waiting for the energy to come back a bit. Easily bored too, had a few different paths myself, Advertising, transport, nursing, admin, on the side a little dabble with hair dressing, soft furnishings, a craft painted glass business, and gardening, oh yes and part time Anne Summers rep. Could have changed the world if I could have focused on one thing

I’ve had lots and lots of different jobs over the years. Never found one I was content with though. Now I don’t work as I’m retired. Strange really as now I have not time enough too work.

Sandstone is a good building material tam. Many famous building are built with it.

Spose sandstone houses are less combustible than usual Oz weatherboard. Good luck for the job but I hope you find 5kilo gold we can share

Most of the Aussie sandstone that is quarried is exported to countries that can afford to pay for it.
