Indeed. In fact I didn't watch any of it on the telly. I only read about it in the papers. I wouldn't watch people making cakes on the TV. The last cooking programme I watched was Ken Hom and before that Fanny and Johnny Craddock ("Put the cakes in the oven, Johnny!").

I don't understand why a lot of people were so keen on Rahool who had zero personality and had some appalling bakes - he should have gone out ages ago.

Call me odd but I’m another who would rather bake cakes than watch people do it on tv: and I am not really a cook;-)

I think Kim joy was a more deserving winner as she’s been consistently better than him, although I did like Rahul, his showstopper last night was very good.
I thought the thing they did outside was ridiculous, how any of them could produce anything worth judging is beyond me.
I enjoy Sandi and Noelpresenting it, and much prefer Pru to Mary Berry, Pru has a real twinkle in her eye. I also love her clothes and jewellery...not that that has anything to do with her baking ability!

I was quite disappointed in the outcome, and I must be the only person not impressed with Rahul's showstopper. I thought it was rather...ugly. Don't get me wrong, I thought Rahul had it in the bag at the start. But he screwed up so many times in the past several weeks...so I was shocked that he'd won.
