Stoopid thing was, Balders, that if, in hindsight ,I had secured a bowline to the bank and put full starboard rudder on the current would of slowly turned me around without aid of engine power. No damage.
I had a Coastal Skipper ticket to( much to my shame) :-(

No loss reallyDTC. The last decent vehicle that came out of Solihull Land Rover was the Defender. IMO

retro....being the proud owner of one of the end of line model Defenders..I can assure you, they dont leave Solihull as decent cars. Its up to nutters like me to make them decent :-)

There are two reasons I can't take my Scottish girlfriend on longs drives in my Range Rover.

One I don't have a Scottish girlfriend. Two - now because of Perth, I don't have a new Range Rover - or it's suddenly become a convertible.
