I use the MS Home professional use 2010 package through work and have been offered the New Office 2019 package for a very cheap rate - £11.99.
1) Would you bother and if yes why?
2) If yes will it mess up all my current files, particularly MS Outlook which I use as my email client and is linked to a phone and a tablet?
I'm on Win 10 and my laptop is red if that's relevant....

Not for red laptops though, only orange or blue ones or it'll clash.

I used MS in my title, in first sentence and point 2) but yes I mean an offer from Microsoft Home use although they are calling it New Office 2017. In other words it's a newer version of what I have already.
