Ok, back on the Firefox mission and from previous posts on much the same subject I am persuaded to use it instead of IE or Avant however, there is one site where i have no option as Firefox does not support it and I need this site for my business.

My question therefore is, Is it possible to set your Fiefox homepage and your IE homepage to differtent sites so that if I open IE the page I want (Supatrak.com) will open automatically? Thanks

Thank you, works perfectly
Get hold of the Firefox extension called "IE Tab" ( https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1419/ ) which will open selected sites in an IE tap within Firefox. Works well 90% of the time.

Thanks for that, you 2 chaps seem to know all about it so can either of you (or anyone else) tell me why the font on my bank's web site with Firefox is so small that it's unreadable, but if you increase it then the next site you go to is stupidly large. It only seems to happen with Bank of Scotland, and NO, I can't move banks!!

Thanks
it's because of the way the guys that made that website designed the site.

I've been waiting for you fo3nix
As long as you've not been waiting for me while holding a knife, that's ok.

No, no knives, guns or owt else similar!

Just expecting some FF advice from your good self..still got a few gripes about FF though but i'm getting there slowly
Re: "why the font on my bank's web site with Firefox is so small "

FF
View
Text Size
Increase

or Ctrl+

been there thank you ryrob... but changing font size when moving between sites is a poor alternative to a browser where that isn't necessary
Re: font size, there's a discussion (that I can't find) somewhere here that explains that FF is written to what should be the standard for web pages, but IE uses some non-standard implementations; as it is the most-used browser, many sites get written to conform to the IE standard rather than the official one.

Ctrl+ mouse wheel also increases/decreases text size. From what I remember it is on a "frame" basis. (I use the "Mouse Zoom" extension that does the whole page).
