Is there somewhere in Word 2007 where I can set a default or global setting for line spacing to be single. I need it to read single or 0 or 01 so that my screen reader knows that it is set at the lowest level, because at the moment it says Line spacing: 1 lines and when I print out a document, what was a single Enter key stroke to me, is actually like a double line space, so the lowest level will help me greatly. I hope all this makes sense? Ta Muchly.

In the "Home" tab select "Line Spacing" from the "Paragraph" section and then select "Line Spacing Options"
In the "Spacing" section, set the "Before" and "After to (0 pt)
Then click on "Default" to set as the Normal template

If not to your liking just re adjust

I'm sorry for the delay in replying Bertrum, but my screen reader (which is the best) hasn't figured out what you've written - yet!...smile...but it's early days, so I'll struggle on; I do hate those ribbony things though - and it looks like the gremlins are back in my answers too.
