Boiled Rice, (Long Grain)

can anybody tell me what 75gms of raw rice will weigh after it is boiled,
thanks in anticipation.

Rule of thumb is to multiply by 2 so you're looking in the region of 150g.

Quantity wise one cup of rice needs to absorb 2 cups of water to cook properly using the absorption method, so I would calculate 75 grams rice + 150 grams (ml) water the cooked product should weigh around 225 grams

Why would you want to know the weight of cooked rice?

scroll down to the rice. Its in cups but the ratios will be the same

ie 1 cup dried white rice = three cups cooked
th 1 oz of dried rice = 3 oz cooked
20 grams dried rice = 60 grams cooked
