Pale green colours like eau du Nile or stone colours. I have my living room partly 'Egyptian cotton' Dulux I think. Avoid anything with a yellow base colour s it may clash.
I would say green as well.
Some suggestions (with photos) here:-

Get yourself some decent colour charts and decide what YOU think matches. You are the one who has to live with whatever colour scheme you decide upon. One man's meat...........................................

Get colour charts or use Google for actual rooms. You didn't say what room this is for.

Pale green for a bathroom or maybe a pale grey? I have dove grey in our bathroom with shocking pink blinds and towels and I think it looks sensational. :-)
an 'Adam green' would be nice.
None really. Can you change the accessories ?
Grudgingly I suppose it depends on how bright and glaring an orange it is.
Brown of course...especially if you are fond of a Jaffa cake....
