G-Mails Not Received.

I sent out a round robin mail to thirty-five recipients three days ago, and have not received any replies.

I have sent a test mail to another of my mail addresses, which has arrived OK.

I believe I am unable to get 'read receipts' for G-Mail unless I have an 'organisation' account - does anyone know how I can get one of those?

The instructions I have found, say-

Compose (or Reply to) a message as usual in Gmail.
Click the More options icon in the lower-right corner of the compose window.
Click Request read receipt from the drop down.
Send your message.
>>> does anyone know how I can get one of those?

By forking out £3.30 per month:

But perhaps wait until the week has properly started before spending money? You don’t always get instant replies at weekends.

Thanks Pix - I don't have the Request Read Receipt in my dropdown menu - are you paying for the one that Chris mentions?
Question Author
Thanks jno - I sent my mails out last Wednesday, and still nothing back, but I will give it a couple more days.

Thanks Chris - does this mean I have to go through the whole rigmarole of purchasing a domain name and so on?

I just want a read receipt!!
Presumably you are using webmail via your internet browser. I tried creating a message using my Gmail address within Google Chrome and could not set a return receipt (although some available add on Apps seemed to have this facility, they did not have good reviews ! ).

If you were to use an Email client, such as the free Thunderbird, a Return Receipt option is available within the write messages options.
