Can anyone recommend a good hedgehog box for me to buy.

There are loads on Amazon and I'm spoilt for choice. Anyone bought one they can recommend?

Thank you.

Here's the only one sold by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society. It's certainly not cheap but, even if you don't buy it, you might get an idea of what to look for on Amazon: https://www.britishhedgehogs.org.uk/shop/product/hedgehoghome/ This leaflet, from the same source, tells you how to make your own but, again, it could still be a useful guide...

This leaflet, from the same source, tells you how to make your own but, again, it could still be a useful guide about what to look for if you're buying from Amazon. (It also tells you where to site a hedgehog home):

That leaflet is very useful. Thanks, Buen.

I have seen the house that they recommend but I don't like it and would prefer something in the garden that looks more natural. Then again if it provides a comfortable, suitable home I might consider it for my frequent visitor.

Thanks again.
Never knew hedgehogs played cricket.
You can cover a bought one with some fallen branches and leaves for extra insulation
I have one made from an old beehive and I also have one like the Igloo version here

https://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Category/0/Wildlife_Habitats~Hedgehog_Houses.html

I have another but its never been used by my hedgehogs.

My igloo one has a resident - and the hive one has had a resident in the past.

I fill them with straw and hay. Its funnto watch the video of my hedgehog taking the extra straw int the house.

Talk to WBM, he made his own I believe
Just remembered I'd sent video of hedgehog bedtime to somebody by WeTransfer.

Here's the link - valid to Sunday I think

Its about 50mb. Bedtime is from about 3 minutes in.
I saw this advert yesterday but haven't bought it yet so cannot recommend.

I like that one Choux. Thank you.

Ah, Tuvok. That's lovely to watch. Thank you.

Why didn't the hedgehog ring back the collected bedding to the box though? It just seemed to disappear.
Where he disappeared is the tunnel entrance part of the house.

Thus that was him going to bed at 5.30am! He's getting up from 7.50pm onwards.

The square box in front is the feeding station.

My hedgehog was here again last night so, today, I am going to make my mind up and order one.
Have just sent for one, too, Tilly. It looks a good one. I have one from Aldi shaped like an igloo but cannot see inside it. Will put this in the back garden where I have seen the hedgehog on camera for weeks now.
i like the igloo
One of mine is in the hive house - I checked it this morning and found it in residence.
My igloo one is Aldi.
i have a tunnel shaped one but unless i lift it cant see inside, I put mine by a wood pile i made and where i put fallen leaves to provide food (woodlice) i also have a terracotta shallow saucer for water.
We don't think it's been used as we have Badgers occasionally from the school behind us. I was told to put a rock/large stone in front (not blocking) of the entrance to stop cats getting in.
