Was in M&S food yesterday and saw their £8 roast dinner offer..one main and two sides. Bought a slab of belly pork, some ready made sage and onion stuffing, and a pack of tenderstem broccoli. With the addition of some carrot and swede mash thats dinner tomorrow sorted.
Question..how would you do the belly pork? Just roast it, marinade it, rub it with something, slice it up before cooking???

My late husband used to love fried slices of belly pork with a fried egg. Haven't had for years.
yuk that nipple put me right off, they could have cut it off first.
I like my bellypork naked just served with some apple sauce on the side.

You’ve reminded me rockrose, I have some apple sauce in the freezer. That’s decided me, roasted naked and covered in apple sauce to serve (with a crispy nipple on the side ;) )
I love it. I just rub with a little oil and salt and slow cook. I love apple sauce as well. And swede mash...I love that with lots of black pepper and butter. I'm hungry :-)

I have glazed gammon tonight with cabbage, spuds and cauliflower cheese...

Have you checked out Tesco's meal deals? They don't seem to advertise them.

Have you ever made cabbage in cheese sauce, I actually prefer it to cauliflower, more substance to it. I add loads of mustard powder and grated nutmeg to the sauce.
I don’t have a Tesco nearby but I have occasionally tried the sainsburys meal deals which aren’t bad, generally Ive found the M&S ones nicer. Or maybe it’s just the ones I’ve chosen.
Scrambled eggs for us tonight, wish I was having a lovely dinner like yours though Ummmm. I just love proper dinners like that, can’t wait to have the belly pork tomorrow :)
I almost always do mine as strips in the slow cooker. I've got some in there now...lots of black pepper, chilli flakes, and fennel seeds plus garlic. I may throw some sun-dried tomatoes in later. The fat is practically melting when I take it out.
Yes...I do cabbage and leek. It's lovely. Creamed cabbage with bacon is also lovely.

Sounds very tasty pasta.
I never buy meal deals but do wonder where they are located in Sainsburys.
