Ok. If you want to play catch up then lets not concern our selves with the daily butchers bill in London. Lets wait til our cities and towns equal each other then you can start a serious debate on the why and wherefores. Course you can tell me capital punishment doesn’t and corporal punishment doesn’t work either.Lot of you are too damn young to remember when we had these punative measures so please don’t reach for google and quote incorrect statistics.
Keep your head in the sand if you will but I am beginning to believe it’s like the Kray era. The police let the Krays clear up thhethe rival gangs pedalling filth. Stop it by correct measures or let them wipe themselves out. Itnis too late at the momentnto say educating them is the answer. Death goes on and the do gooders cannot provide a viable solution

WEBBO, the Met may have investigated twice as many murders as Greater Manchester police but it has a much larger population.

It's why I asked about the homicide RATE and London had 12.2 per million of population and Greater Manchester had 19.1 per million.

If both areas had a population of ten million, London would have had 122 homicides and Greater Manchester 191 homicides, more than 50% greater.

Knowing that now, do you see what I'm getting at?
Lol.
If the proof is not in the pudding and so predictable. After my last post what do we have ,immediately afterwards, is comparison catch up statistics . No actual viable suggestions as to how we tackle these feral assassins where ever they may reside in their filthy enclaves and gangs
Scary as it looks if you take out the domestic violence that goes too far, and the gang and drug related cases it is still a tiny percentage of the population involved. It's a great shame when young people lose their lives for whatever reason. But the number dying in accidents and poor health due in part to social circumstances is so much greater. Maybe a sense of perspective is needed.
LOL all you want but tell me which area is safer.

WEBBO, I have no idea what you wrote but perhaps you could re-phrase it.

Stop trying to divert from the obvious, there are reports almost on a daily basis of a stabbing or shooting on the streets of London.

If you are concerned about the number of killings in Manchester, then may I suggest that you start a thread on that subject?

That's because it's London, AOG, other towns and cities don't always make national news.

It is silly to say that, of course they do, in fact they are more likely to cover up London's record of crime, if they can focus on other towns or cities.

Well if you thinking that the Mail is making it up, here's the Guardian's report.

https://www.guardian-series.co.uk/news/16897312.teenager-shot-and-killed-in-walthamstow/
"The 19-year-old becomes London’s 108th murder victim in 2018."

Interesting.. On average how many murders occur in London a year?

(I thought it was a lot more than 108 to be fair, but maybe the source i saw accidentally typod an extra number at the end...)
I haven't noticed many Yardie drug gangs springing up in Tunbridge Wells. Loads in Lambeth,Peckham etc. Quelle Surprise. :-(
It varies Spath and some sites give differing figures too.

2003 - 204
2017 - 131
Most murders do not make national news.
In that case Mamy 108 seems about average for this time of year does it not?
(not that makes it OK at all)

That just goes to show how cheap life as become in our once 'Green and Pleasant Land'.

Why, even long ago a guy called Doctor Crippen was hunted down and consequently became historic news and he only killed his wife.
'national news'.. they still make the local news though, nearly always
