it's all happening in the Nasty Party, Jezza'a storm troopers rule with an iron fist.
Last year it was the BBC political Editor who needed an armed guard. Then it was Jewish people. Peoples party???

What's the answer then, for this running scared Tory Party , Another Referendum , or a General Election, they need to act fast , they are getting more unpopular by the minute. The Traffic lights are out of order, a car crash is imminent.
Twitter and Facebook and email make it very easy to issue death threats with anonymity. So high profile people who extremist members of the public disagree with, are subjected to this abuse. It shouldn’t happen, but it does. Most threats are baseless, but they have to be taken seriously.

Years ago, these keyboard warriors would have had to write letters to their victims in green-ink and these would have been filtered out by their secretaries.
Now it is so easy to fire off a threatening message with hardly a second-thought.
Most nutters, though, don't follow through with their broadcasted intentions.

Obviously the police are taking the threat seriously enough to provide a guard.
The Parliamentary Security Department (PSD) are responsible for assessing any perceived threat to MPs and their staff.
It appears that a lot of these threats are to female MPs and women in politics. In most instances when the abuser is found, they are men.

Much the same as when terrorists are found, they are Muslim.
Sometimes the nutters / extremists ‘get through’.

I don’t think it’s the ones who make threats who are the dangerous ones. If you really wanted to attack someone in the public eye, you would just do it - rather than give a warning via social media to thousands of people.
The problem is you just don't know SP.

Unfortunately labour has become a nasty vile racist party and anyone speaking up gets a jackboot ed visit from COBS browns hurts.
