Can anyone tell me where I can add work related Flat Rate Expenses on the online self assessment tax return please because I can`t bloody find it and it's doing my head in. Thanks.

If you've opted for the simpler type of online tax return (which is available to small traders) you won't find anywhere to fill in expenses. You simply do your own calculations to work out what your income is after you've paid your expenses and declare that figure on the form.

Thanks. Found it (I had to add under Change Income) Good job I did as I found a mistake that had been made by the tax office.
