You'd have thought that the Scots would have held their voting on a day in June, July, or August so that they could (maybe) be assured of nice weather for their new Bank (Brae?) Holiday.

I beleive the weather is fine in Scotland, Stuey
Question Author
Bazile, I meant the weather in general, as in years ahead when they gather together and hold parties to celebrate their freedom:)
No stuey....Brae is a hill slope, and a bank is a financial institution who take your money and give you virtually no interest, and make wild speculations with it,bringing recession to the country.
stuey - why dont you return to GB , where the weather is always fine - why put up with the Canadian constant cold temperatures ?
Also don't forget Stuey - many people are on hols on those months you mentioned.

I knew that, SirOracle; I was just going off on a tangent...or maybe a SirCumference:) Bazile, you're wrong about the weather here: its going up to 25 today.

Stuey - what , 25 fahrenheit ?
Question Author
Centigrade: nice and sunny and quite warm.
stuey......I was about to post an FAO to you, However as this is your thread I'll do it here. :-

You did say in a recent thread that originally your username was Stewey, but a change of e/mail address then prevented your posting into AB.

I think you should contact personally the Ed (or ABAuntie) and, as Stewey is still listed as 'Active' , request that both of your Profiles should be combined so that Stuey's record shows a true picture of your membership.........Over 11,000 Answers with 41 as 'Best' and a member since 2006.

If you think I am being unhelpful, please tell me where to stick my flag.
