...if he'd taken a horsewhip to the protester who verbally abused him in front of his children?

Horsewhip? No.
I am I 'nice left-winger' and can't stand JRM and his views but I condemn flat cap man for his harassment of the children and nanny.
Silly old fool - sensibly met with humour.

'The OED defines patrician as “A person of noble birth or rank, an aristocrat; a person of high social status, esp. one from an established wealthy family; a member of the upper classes.”

So (excepting the noble birth b@llsh1t) Reesmogg might qualify.

And it occurs that if he HAD been up before the beak it wouldn’t have been our resident masquerader, but a real one.'

What kind of a person would type all that twaddle out with the sole purpose of having a dig at a fellow ABer?
I know what I think but can't say.
Who's "our resident masquerader"?
The members of Class War hate just about everybody other than themselves, so we probably shouldn't be surprised that a member of this laughable outfit acted in this manner.

This bloke is clearly a huge lowlife piece of excrement to think it's acceptable to abuse somebody in this manner in front of their children, and then to make matters worse he addressed the children directly and told them their father was a horrible man and was hated.

Feel free to hate JRM, even feel free to abuse him if you must, but not in front of his kids.

Cretin.
I knew his aunt Anne; film-maker and art teacher. Very nice woman - good family.
