I use a folder in my Gmail photos, people can only see that image and folder if you share that, or you can do it via an upload site like TinyPic, but I found my gmail easier.

If you need more detailed instructions, here goes:

Go here:
http://upl.co/

Click the green button.

Navigate to the location of the image file on your computer.

Double-click on the file.

When you see a thumbnail of the image, left-click in the 'Direct link' field, to highlight the link.

Then right-click and select 'Copy'

In an AB post, right-click where you want the link to appear and select 'Paste'. (It's best to put the link on a separate line to anything else).

Here's a random pic from my computer, which took me only a few seconds to get a link for:

this one much easier than tiny pic.. upload pic then copy and paste from top string as you would do on youtube

Thanks all - i have managed to post the picture directly from my mobile

How would i transfer a document/image from my phone into the documents / desktop ( for example ) of my laptop?
Simply connecting the phone to a PC with the USB charging cable that came with it is often all that's required for the phone to show up as an external drive (just like a USB pen drive) when you go to 'Computer'. You can then double-click on the icon for the phone/drive to explore its contents and drag-&-drop (or copy-&-paste) files in the usual way.

With some phones though you need to press some keys to tell it that it must act as an external drive. We'll need to know the make & model of your phone if you need instructions for that.
PS: Alternatively you can email files to yourself, sending them from your phone and then accessing the emails on your PC.
