Hi fiction-factory, the way it is written in the paper is "reposte" which I am assuming is a typo.
Yes it is all one dingbat. My apologies it didn't come out clearly but the allot and allocate are on one side and the retort, reply, respond and reposte are on the other side.

Could be, but I would have preferred it if they had used "assign" rather than "allot" in the dingbat
