We had a massive tree cut down
Our neighbour says he will take the logs and trunk off us for his wood burner

Would you let him have it for free ?

Her indoors tells me to just let him have it for free

We've been burning all sorts of random wood including a lot of green conifer on an open fire for the last 40 years with no problems at all. People who say it spits and you have to dry it for x years are talking a load of baloney. If it's wood it burns!

The tree looks like one of the many varieties of Lawsons cypress.
Its full of resin, I wouldn't use it in my burner!
