Deffo, I have to agree though I am lucky enough not to take pain killers, I like to do without. However the other saviour gives me relief from discomfort and the medical problems I face daily.... Glad there's others who know its helpfulness as I felt guilty thinking it was only me..
A potential lethal cocktail in excess.
Suicide is painless as they sang the M.A.S.H theme song. BIl tried it a couple of times but drank the vodka first and was too pizzed to take the Paracetamol. :-(

dunnitall if it takes the edge off, and in moderation, it's a pleasure.

retro, of course and I don't endorse over indulgence in either. If they're a problem in someone's life they're not helping.

I'm just in from cleaning at my brothers, he has short term memory loss. I have osteoarthritis, I've come home stiff & achey, a couple of paracetamol and a lager, yes thank you I will! x
Retro anything in excess is not good and sometimes lethal...but it's life int it..... Que sera sera and I truly believe our 'books' are written before we are born. Nothing will change our destiny IMO just look at how people pass away from very little compared to others when who survive what are potentially 'unsurvivable' occurrences.
Question Author
I don't endorse excess, though I can't walk in others shoes. What do I know of others suffering.
I suffer from a chronic condition which can cause a lot of pain. I have a lovely doctor who agrees a couple of glasses of your favourite tipple every day is a tonic. It relaxes you and is good for the soul. Your state of mind does effect how you feel and I'm quite happy to have my wine every night. If it shortens my life then so be it -at least I'll die happy lol!
Aunt Lydia, you art so right. I intend to die tiddly but happy :)
Well, I have the alcohol now but, thankfully, no need of painkillers.
I am blessed. (So far)
