Maydup.....I once gave a glut of apples...admittedly old... to a lady who kept three pigs.....she later complained that the apples were too far gone and the pigs got tipsy....
Don't know how true that was.... :-)

I lived on a fairly busy road so I used to put mine in a big bucket with carrier bags beside it and a help yourself sign......also the care home at the top of the road were grateful for them...x

I'd take any of the apples, courgettes or runner beans....love all of them.... waiting for apples to be able to make my damson jelly...

Thanks for the replies and recipes. I already make courgette soup and to make it taste anything edible I use loafs of cumin and chilli.
