On a radio phone-in last night, an Asian gentleman said that it is getting so dangerous for his wife and children that he is returning to India, since England is not the same country that he chose to settle in years ago, he also said that his children have to be indoors by 7pm.

They will never stop it, it's the culture and it's here to stay. Even if more and more police are available there's no respect for them from young people today...seems nothing scares them now.
This country has grown into a lawless society and it would take a massive change to shift things back to basics and even then I doubt it could happen. We are all fighting for our lives with no prospect of being able to live in a safe environment for all manner of reasons...(not enough mental health workers or places to house or imprison those who need to be kept away from society etc)
Looks like this is it folks, make the best of what we are having to put up with....I for one cannot see a light at the end of a very dark and scary tunnel.
