Is there any value or any interest in VHS videotapes (of films etc ) nowadays.

No, not at all. Most people I know have thrown theirs away as even the charity shops have stopped taking them a long long while ago.

No not unless they are films that were only ever released on VHS, some of those have value, so people can transfer them to disc x

If you can't sell them don't landfill them....
Give them to someone to crochet into bags.....they make great shopping bags especially if you bling them up with beads... :-)
