Mp3

Friend send me a music file which I can't open. She says it's an mp3 music file. Can anyone tell me in simple language how I can open this to listen to it? I'm a real technophobe!

Oops sorry, as I said I'm a technophobe. I'm trying to open it on my laptop folks.

Just to make sure it is an mp3 file, right click on the file and select 'properties'. On the next window it should identify what type of file it is. Also, it might suggest what program you have that will play it.

Thanks for all you replies. Now know that the file didn't transfer properly. Friend has resent and I can now open and listen to it.
