My friend's husband has suggested I should get her gardening vouchers for her birthday. Has anyone any experience of using them? Are they widely accepted?

depends on the garden centre, if its a big chain then the vouchers will be accepted in any of their stores across the country, see which is their local store.
but beware, some Wyvale stores have been taken over by Blue diamond and so some may not take the vouchers.
We got some last year for Dobbies very welcomed from friend.
My local garden centres offer a choice, they sell vouchers just to be exchanged at their centre and other vouchers which can be used nationwide.
You could ask your friendss husband which garden centre she usually uses and buy them there; if they sell universal ones, so much the better.

Yes, I have messaged him to find out. Dobies seeds - gosh that brings back memories. My Dad used to sell them to the farmers. Thanks for the replies. I`ll await the reply and phone the centre that they use.
Enter your friend's postcode here:

That will show you where Garden Gift Cards (issued by the Horticultural Trades Association) can be used.

I've just tried my own postcode and all of the main garden centres around here accept them.
