anneasquith, //is there nothing Johnston won't do for money ?//

Why shouldn't he? It's not a bad way to earn a living. I like him. He's jolly.
Why pick on Johnson AA? Why should him earning his fee be any different to the others earning theirs? I doubt any of them are skint. He comes across as a likeable chap.

I think this bunch are more interesting than previous ones.
Be comes across as a man using his sons name to get attention/ make a fool of himself. I find him quite unpleasant .

Errrr....I think Stanley is quite a wealthy man.
Question Author
Right SS is not going to be my BFF now I know she’s a bit narky
Stanley is famous in his own right - a published author of several books one of which was made in to a film starring John Hurt (The Commissioner); he's won awards for animal welfare and the environment; he appeared on HIGNFY in 2004, four years before Boris.

I think he's a decent bloke.
He is a decent bloke. He's a Tory, that's AA's problem with him.
How do you know what my problem with him is ladybird? He's a chancer and boring.
I think he is excellent in it, really good sense of humour, throughly enjoying this one, have seen them all, feel sorry for Susan George, she seems so sad at times.
A chancer and boring. Wow.
This is some of what he has actually done with his life, copied from Wiki. I wish there were more like him.

"He is a trustee of the Gorilla Organisation and a board member of Plantlife International. In 1983 he received the RSPCA Richard Martin Award for Outstanding Services to animal welfare, and in 1984 he received the Greenpeace Award for Outstanding Services to the Environment. He is an ambassador for the UNEP Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals based in Bonn, Germany.

He has published a number of books dealing with environmental issues and nine novels, including The Commissioner, which was made into a 1998 film starring John Hurt. In 1962 he won the Newdigate Prize for Poetry."
I have no issue with his achievements lasybirder, but don't presume why I dislike someone based on their political persuasion .
