What style of music

There's a type of song, usually sung as a folk song, where the ending word of one line suddenly becomes the first word of the next (usually very funny and a bit risque) - something like SWEET VIOLETS though a lot funnier. Does anyone know what this is called and hopefully some examples?

The one that me and my mates always sung was:

I don't know what they call the style of music though.
