Anyone noticed any drop in standards of Songs Of Praise in the last year? Looks a tad low budget these days

I never watch it - watching people in church singing hymns on TV always makes me feel really uncomfortable.

It's not made by BBC Productions now, it's made by private media firms including Avanti Media and a few others listed on the end title credits.
They changed the format last year to include more faiths and tick the box for Diversity and Equality to be more inclusive.
