Hmmm, on one hand it is good public toilets (that are open all day and night) are being provided on the other looking at the puddle on one picture they dont see to work too well.

As for the smell as far as my trouble is concerned all the French smell. She rather loudly told them so on the underground once (it was true).

Honestly I think I would rather people just pee in alleyways, if there really is no other option available. Nobody expects an alleyway to smell good. Having those things stink up busy streets is worse than the original problem.

I remember my Mum and Dad watching that, when I was a kid.
I was always sent out of the room when it was on!

I went to a rock festival in Holland once, and there was something similar all around the venue.
I thought it was a revolting idea then, and still do.

I wouldn't wee anywhere in the street, even with a She-Wee. I'm embarrassed when OH is caught short and goes on our car tyre in a car park.
Just build more public loos. Not just in Paris. We need them everywhere.

The very last pissoir in Paris was on the Île de la Cité, just outside the prison around the corner from Notre Dame. Been gone over thirty years now.
