I read a comment on the Orangutan video when I first found the clip and someone said that they were showing human habits and emotions.

Why do people think that humans are the only animals that have emotions and care for their young?
They seem to have more control over their young too! I think they feel love....
Susan, some people aren't very observant - some animals show more love than many humans do.
Of course animals feel love, and fear, and many emotions that we think we are the only ones to experience.

Princess Merlin was at the vet today and was managing to let her feelings understood what she meant. She hissed a couple of times and then kept growling. The noises emanating from the cat carrier on the way home were rather primal and eerie. She is still glaring at me.

Night folks - I am off to bed.
