Google Drive Problem Opening Videos & Pictures

on google drive my videos take ages to open, some do not open at all even though i wait 10 minutes, when i open my files on chromebook some photos are blank and some are showing.

what has happened and how to fix this ?

even when i go ino files on chrome book , i enter the download section and my files ie video ans pictures some open and some do not.
some have a preview which i can see what picture/ video i want open and some are blank
