My front brake pads needs replacing

I can get it done at local garage for £50

I noticed that Halfords are doing offer of free replacement brake pads for life (after initial purchase - £ 109.83 )- transferable to your next vehicle .

Is it as good as it sounds , do you think ?

does the £50 include the pads? also i suppose it depend on how often you normally change them, as the offer is only the cost of this and one more change of pads
I'd say, go with your local garage.
Sounds too good to be true .. but here's the offer ..

The £50 is fully fitted

When I bought the car , in July 2014 ,it had 52517 on the clock
It's now got 72k
Question Author
I have not replaced the pads or shoes since I bought car
It all depends how long you think you'll keep the car. I have a similar deal with KwikFit and I'm quids in with it as I keep my cars a long time.

Don't know how long this set of pads / shoes were on the car before it bought it

Bhg
It's a lifetime deal so long as you own a car
I.e. transferable to next car
Bazile - are you sure. I have my MoTs done at Halfords and was idly reading the leaflet about it last year; I thought the offer followed the car, not the owner. In other words, if you sell the car you can transfer it to the next owner. I stand to be corrected as I was only vaguely interested, already having the KwitFit guarantee.
