It is the most comfortable I have been in weeks.
They'll bring you wine, if you ask nicely... and lunch.
Lovely way to travel.
I suspect you have always been cool Rowan.
Just too humble to admit it;-)

Too early for lunch brunch and alcohol will be deal geared shortly
Nice.

I slept in the spare room last night. We only have two rooms which have full size windows that open out. It was lovely. I had a gentle breeze all night. Lovely.

TBH my whole flat cools off nicely in the late afternoon anyone who is cool enough to sleep is doing well
My house seems to heat up as the day goes on.
I love Mr BM with all my heart (well I did anyway, but more so now) because a few nights ago he set up an air conditioning unit upstairs. My room is like a fridge. Even the cat loves him now.

Mind you last night we had one or two Pimms too many and decided to go for a stroll at 3am. It was wonderful.
Keep your windows and curtains shut in the daytime, ummmm

Very nice bacon roll and some chocolates, too early for the booze trolley. Note to self book later train next time

Sounds lovely
The only way to travel, Rowan! I have a couple of friends who refuse to try....too expensive...they say.

But if you search for a deal that and what you save on refreshments is often cheaper than second.....and the lounges to wait in when you change trains make waiting around easy and comfy......x
hc....I do. I think living in a terrace street doesn't help. I put my hand on next doors wall yesterday and was shocked at how hot it was.
I'm not sure that a terraced house makes all that difference, Ummm. It was 28 in my kitchen yesterday and it has 3 external walls.

Mind you, that's the new part of the house. The old part which is approx 350 years old is quite bearable but in parts the walls are up to 5ft thick!
I just think the concrete/bricks heats up more and more as the day goes on so it feels hotter.
