What did he actually say?
He meant, as he explains, that for him he’s won many grand slams compared to Anderson so it would be a bigger deal for the latter. Added to which Djokovic has come back from injury and was expecting less
So that is his thinking
could be interesting if Anderson has recovered from his 7 hour saga
The match was boring, boring, boring.
The second half of the third set was … reasonably good. The first two sets were dire. The semis were much, much better.
The semifinal between Anderson and Isner was boring as heck once it got to the fifth set. As soon as it got to 6-6 Isner played the same way he did in his boreathon in 2010 which ended 70-68. If the opponent got to 30-0 he'd give up the game hoping for a better chance to break in the opponent's next serving game.

I was there on Friday. Everyone was moaning about how tedious it was. We just wanted SOMEONE to win, regardless of who we were supporting at the start.

Anderson was never going to have much of a chance after that.
Hope you enjoyed the atmosphere at least.:-)
I did enjoy the atmosphere. Everyone was ecstatic when Anderson finally got there.
Shame he was too knackered to do well today.

Time for a 5th set tiebreaker, I think.

Tim Henman is on the LTA committee and he was saying it will be discussed at next meeting. Hopefully, they will bring it into being.
