Just in case Sqad's having withdrawal sympoms...

We're having Turkey and Paneer curry, basmati rice and poppadoms. We might be going to view a house later, if the Agent ever gets back to me.

We saw a house yesterday, or should I say a pig hole, which has fantastic potential for extending and renovating, in an awesome location. Trouble it, it looks squalid inside and we'd have to live there whilst doing it all up. I don't know if I have the stomach for it.

NoM...not sure. I slept in very late so I'll probably just do a fry up for Ginge. I have to be up quite a few hours before I can think about food.

That was dreadful what someone did to Salla. I don't think I ever saw her clash with anyone.

Ummmm, what I wouldn't give to sleep in!
It wasn't really a sleep in as I didn't go to bed until about 3am. Bloody Netflix!

I'm so annoyed with myself, as I missed the opportunity to record a couple of good films yesterday. I didn't really look at the TV guide until this morning.

Labyrinth is on today with David Bowie. That's a strange but good film.
I don't ever look at TV guides. We only have 5 channels (we do have free view but have no aerial) so it doesn't take me long to flick through the channels :-)

Ginge, the idiot, started watching something on Netflix but fell asleep. When he got up this morning he thought he'd watched the whole series. He fell asleep during the first episode!!

Well my OH has a veritable library of recorded programmes that I'm not convinced he'll ever watch. There are something like 39 episodes of Grand Designs, several episodes of Top Gear, Bang On Budget, Golf Stuff. Some of his programmes date back to March. It's a tad irritating.
I was going to make pierogi but it's too hot so I am just having asparagus with ham and garlic bread
Got some nice cod loin, will do something with that.
Cheese pizza & salad.

Pierogi ... Polish dumplings aren't they?

Sounds nice Patsy. I could eat salad every day of the year.

Mamya - nice when wrapped in proscuitto and served on a tomato and cream sauce.
More like big polish ravioli. Delish but ex's family served them smothered in melted butter, too naughty.
Glad you are back,

Thanks, Ro. It would be lovely to come and pick you up, bring you back here for lunch and perhaps go out for a drive. Only when you're ready...
Had a lovely Cottage Pie thanks. With cabbage, broad beans, and the spuds for the mash home grown out back. Lovely afternoon here gardening like mad and keeping an eye on the motor racing and golf. Even found a bit of time to aggravate the usual suspects. :)) Ready for my lie down and a trip into space with "The Soldier". Plans for tomorrow include the seashore and nothing more.
Haven't had a good cottage pie for a while, yummy.

Who've you been aggravating?

Enjoy the shore , should be a bonny day.
I'll try that with the rest of the cod I have LadyC , tonight I had it baked and served on a bed of shredded spring greens and cauli with a pesto dressing.

Trying to boost my folate after a low count, so it's greens with almost everything.

Good idea, Mamya. Greens are fantastic, nutritious foods. I love eating greens but just can't be bothered to cook them everyday in this weather.
