There is a post on Facebook which shows a Krispy Kreme truck wedged under a low bridge.

The Police and others suggested that they let down the tyres to un-wedge it.

A suggestion was made that the Police take the doughnuts ‘into custody’ in the hope that it would change the height of the van. It was a humorous suggestion but is there any logic in this suggestion?

If it's the low bridge that I can think of in Ely, then the driver is a total idiot.
You would struggle to get a Chelsea tractor under it.

It is not a low bridge, it's a very low bridge.

Good Grief - I couldn't get under that with my bike on the roof of my Volvo V70.
Mathematical geniuses? Surely, it's physics...or, just common sense?
No geniuses required.
Did driver say" Ich Bin Ein Berliner ".
Are drivers of trucks not aware of the height of their vehicles?
Doughnuts are full of fat. Use it to gease the truck, then pull.
Lol @ Geezer.
"It is not a low bridge, it's a very low bridge. "

Yes, but it's easily understandable why the lorry drove beneath it. I mean, it's hardly visible. Those black and yellow "wasp" stripes and the huge warning sign blend perfectly into the background!
