Frogs Can Squeal!

Well I never knew this, I just heard a high pitched squealing and rushed outside as I thought the cats had a mouse but no it was a frog they were looking at. Search on internet shows this is quite common, had no idea. It is now safely away from them in a shady place, Example here:

I never knew this until a few years ago. I could here all this screaming in my conservatory. Went to investigate and seen my cat just staring at something. Pulled a box away and seen frog! He was warning my cat off! Lol... It was new to me too how they screamed. How fascinating!
A similar sort of thing..... we have a midwife toad in a garden somewhere near us and it makes a sound like an electronic beep at regular intervals during the night from about 9 onwards. It must have moved away a little bit because it's gone quieter now, but at one point we had to keep the window closed as it kept us awake!
