I'm considering buying a one week sports pass to watch the open golf. Can I only watch it on-line, i.e. a lap top or can i get it on my tv? Thanks.

Yes, I've got a smart tv. I don't want the box. I just want to buy a subscription for one week only so that I can watch The Open Golf.

I have Now TV already on my TV I just have to subscribe to it. I have an LG TV.

If you've got the Now app on your tv you don't need the box. Just open the app and follow the instructions

I have signed up for a one week package to watch the Open but we will have to watch on the laptop, as the Now TV icon on my TV only allows movies.

Its not automatic that if you have the icon you can access all channels on Now TV but if you can on yours, its very straightforward to access once you sign up. We have the icon via YouView which is what limits us.

My advice is not to be tempted to sign up for the full Sky package hoping you can just use the 14 day free period and then cancel, as loads of peopel complain that its impossible to cancel and the payments just keep being taken from the bank account. So pay once and be done.
