It is, I even dreamt about what to cook - in the event I shall open the fridge and have a portion of everything that's ready to eat.

Haven't eaten much hot food for several days. Today it's cold salmon fillets (already cooked by Mr.Waitrose), warmed mixed grains (microwave) and steamed helda beans (already cooked and eaten cold)with a herby dressing. Mixed berry trifle from Waitrose (natch).

We have had salads for the past three days, Ginge. Thought I'd ring the changes a bit today. Pot roasted chicken with tomato, chilli pasta.

My slow cooker got used yesterday for belly pork. Today it's pan fried king prawns...5 minutes and they're done!

Probably a big fat avocado,Tilly. Olive oil, sea salt and pepper. Oh, and some grilled, marinated peppers.

It's raining here and today I had a lot to cook, I starting some of my cooking last night in the slow cooker, I just love it and I love going onto Pinterest for new ideas of what to cook, broadens the culinary experience seeing what others have tried and tested in the slow cooker
