Should I?

A: Repaint the living room, do all the washing, vacuuming, dusting, mopping etc.

or

B: Stock up on booze and party hats.

Option B: I find rather enticing Boaty, but, a lot of effort would be required in hiding the evidence.
Then there would be the question asked of how much of an effort went into option A:

Compromise, option B followed by serious cleaning and other housework to hide the evidence. Don't bother with party hats use the money for a welcome home bunch of flowers.
