Both Iniesta (Spain) and Ronaldo (Portugal) to assist in a goal being scored. £5 gets me £70. Gives me added interest in watching, too :-)

There'll be some tired legs dragging themselves up to the penalty spot :-)
Tired legs dragging myself to bed Ken. Couldn't go until I knew who we play in the semi. I mean how can you plan and dream if you don't know who you are playing next. Keep this thread running bud, it is 'so far' free of spoilers.

I would expect nothing more than 2 very tense and nervy semi final matches tonight and tomorrow. There will be lots of 'men behind the ball' comments and, perhaps, not enough going forward in support. Both could quite conceivably go to penalties and i must admit, i am having great difficulty splitting France and Belgium, though i do have a sneaking fancy that it will be Belgium who go through to the final. Both are great going forward but, equally, both defences leave a lot to be desired. So, my bets for the semis are;

£5 win France 1 Belgium 1 @ 11/2
£5 win Croatia 1 England 2 @ 10/1
£5 double @ 70.5/1
Gotcha here now Ken. Didn't do a bet of the Galic semi and have been out for most of the day playing at tourist on Anglesey. Will have a bet tomorrow and post before the game. Didn't see much to be afraid of to be honest. We just need to get past Modric and co. Tomorrow will be a long wait.

A long, nervy wait, Togo. I didn't really hold out that much hope for us prior to the WC - i even said how far i thought we'd go on here, but now we're in the semis, the expectation/anxiety is growing. And, of course, if we get to the final, the old nerves will be jangling that much louder :-)
Morning Ken. Will wait for team announcements before placing a bet but see that 365 are again offering the in play free bet up to £5 if yo place a single bet on the game. Probably do the scorecast bet again and probably stick with Sterling. He is due a goal, and if I leave him out guaranteed one. If we get to the final and he hasn't scored by then, I may well do just that. :))
Done and dusted Ken, bets on. Sterling first goal and 2-0 @40/1 2-1 @60/1 3-0 @80/1 3-1 @105/1. Kane first goal 2-0 @18/1 2-1 @30/1 3-0 @ 80/1 3-1 @65/1. Sterling is good value to score or be first Scorer.
Don't even care that my bets were cooked. Done in play free bet that the next goal is a header. My ticker is banging and my brothers (5 of em) are texting or ringing every 5 minutes. We are playing beautiful and smart football and only a catastrophe can unhinge us now surely. Even when we make a cockup the back 3 look absolutely rock. Gotta go and have a ciggie(supposed to be trying not to) but I don't care . :))

So far, so good, Togo. We are so much in control that our biggest enemey could be complacency. Just used my free in-play bet on Dele Alli anytime @ 13/2. Come on you guys, let's have another early goal - settle everyone's nerves. The Martell is on standby :-)
Doing my fruit in Ken. You, like me, watch football all year round and we both know that we should now put one away and run the game without wasting energy.

In my attempt to try and keep abreast of the Tennis, Racing and Football, i forgot to post today's WC bet - which took a bit of an early knock.

England v Belgium 1-1 @ 13/2
France v Croatia 1-1 @ 11/2

2 x £2 win singles and a £2 14/1 double
Question Author
^
That should read 2 x £2.50 win singles and a £5 double @ 47.75/1
Question Author
Okay, with both the World Cup and Wimbledon coming to a climax today, i have taken full advantage of 888's offer of a 100% boost to the price.

World Cup; Both teams to score
Wimbledon; Djokerman to win 3-1

£5 double on what should have been a tad over 15/2 - boosted to just over 15/1 = £80.78
