There was a more in depth analysis of the situation re awarding BA so early on an earlier thread by the same OP.

It did get a fair few comments.

Even though Nameless frequently gives them to me, I do feel as though I haven't earned my BAs from him because to award a BA before the whole thread is complete is completely futile and pointless. I sometimes don't give BA's at all on my questions if there is not a genuine stand alone answer that's more amazing than the rest. Maybe I'm taking it too seriously though :/
