Well I went for Sainsbury’s ordinary
There’s two bottles in the freezer. I’m new to cider really so I intend to branch out a bit - not those fruit ones though - I’ll stick to apple I think
Sorry to disillusion you, but apple's a fruit ;-)

The other fruit ones are a nice change once you get to know pure apple cider. I'd recommend perry too.
I used to drink Thatchers Cider, but the taste was very bitter and sour , so I changed to Norbury's Cider.
G'morning Ric....... A Youtube drink..oops I mean link I think...to start your day.

Cheers.......Hans.

Sainsbury’s cider was just ok
I might have to up my price range - I really like magniers so I might try taste the difference next

Anyone know what white lightening tastes like. (I jest)
Try a Henry Weston’s. But watch the %age.
I was in local supermarket yesterday and a guy was promoting cider, it was produced by Heineken, he opened an ice cold tiny tin for me to taste, it was delicious and refreshing, I had a coupon for money off multi pack, I'd have bought it but I was on way to a funeral, the name has gone over me now, but I know he mentioned heineken and was in green can, delish, I like magniers, it's produced close to me in Ireland as Bulmers
I love Henry Westons and Dunkertons organic.
very wise, ducksie, if you'd taken it to the funeral it would all have been consumed in half an hour.
Ha Jno, it would have been gone by time I hit the car park :) I now know the name of it, Appleman's and it's just gorgeous - no horrid aftertaste
You never seem to see the word Perry now, it's referred to as pear cider.
Henry Weston’s all the way and yes, it’s strong. Beware. :))
Nothing wrong with the Co-ops own.
For all we know, Co-op's and other Supermarket's Ciders are produced by Bulmers of Hereford which is now owned by Heineken.

A lot of Cider produced in the uk is made from apples and or juice imported mainly from France.

Hans.
For Jackdaw, Ritz, I don't know if it can be bought in the UK is a perry made by Bulmers Clonmel - just down the road from me here in Ireland-'tis lovely too :)
