Clutch Or Gear Box?

I have a 2007 fiat punto and no matter how far i press the clutch down to put into reverse it crunches.
It's OK changing gear to drive forward.
Also we've tried everything and cannot get the passenger window up.
Any advice would be grateful, can't get it into my local garage till Monday

Reverse gear ( on a Punto ) has no syncromesh so put the clutch down and wait a few seconds and then select reverse, or put in first gear and the immediately in to reverse.

Regarding the window probably have to remove the door card to see whats going on.
