My lovely eldest son finished his A levels on Monday, had a job interview today and starts work on Tuesday (and the job couldn't be a better fit for his plans) - so happy for him :)

Great stuff "Sherry". It is heartwarming to hear of youngsters with purpose and drive doing well. Two threads tonight with lads getting on with it instead of looking for a chance to feel sorry for themselves. All may not be lost after all if we have people coming through with sense and ambition. As long as they keep well away from politicians and the opinionated and the "educators" they are destined to thrive. You must be proud too. Rightly so.
Behind every successful son is a proud mum with bald patches from the times she tore her hair out. Well done
So true, rowan.
