Its amazing to read through the potential uses for this material. Medicine, technology, engineering, enviromental. I can't get my head around the fact that it's 200 times stronger than steel!

Yes wonderful British discovery. Just hope the benefits aren't sold out cheap to the rest of the world like other great British ideas. Eg hovercraft, linear motor, ( for high speed trains), etc etc.

If Graphene gets you excited .. then Google ..
Aerogel and then Zylon. A close contact in the F1 industry uses all 3 of these products on a regular basis.
All are very interesting in their capabilities and all basicly unheard of by the common man.

Imagine a Graphene phone 1mm thick .. not out of the question, as you can lay a printed circuit on it.
