In my opinion, black racism exists in our country and is also influenced by the same from across the pond.

Here is just one example following the disgraceful episodes in Starbucks.

Then we get this.

Racism is racism.

If you discriminate (either 'positively' or 'negatively') based purely on the skin colour of an individual then you're a racist. It has nothing to do with perceived power.

Those who would have you believe otherwise are pedlars of BS.

Yes but it seems to me that many blacks use racism to further their own agendas by claiming discrimination where none exists, using it to cover up crime for example.
Blacks have objected to stop and search saying its racist, then complain when another one of their black kids is stabbed to death by another black kid.
The entangled logic goes on and on.
And why is there a Black Police Association and an Association Of Black Lawyers?
Aren't these to placate the shouts of racism by whites?

Would you call Affirmative Action racist then?
Or the BBC diversity policies that bar whites from applying for jobs?
Theland - "Would you call Affirmative Action racist then?"

Yes. It discriminates against non-whites. Ergo it's racist by definition.
Theland - “[Are] BBC diversity policies that bar whites from applying for jobs [racist]?

Yes. They discriminate against non-whites. Ergo, they're racist by definition.

The point I am making and I'm sure it's not lost on you, is that whites are fed up being told they are racist and so unwarranted measures are taken to placate blacks.
Yes?
Reverse discrimination is discrimination nonetheless. Unfortunately it requires more intelligence to realise that people are much more than the colour of their skin or some arbitrary sub-classification of human being than many can muster. Until we're all able to consider individuals, as such, it's all a lost cause.

It is more often than not the nice whites that are throwing the accusations of racism about.
It is well-known that when people from the subcontinent advertise themselves on dating sites, they emphasise how pale their skins are. They know that lighter skins are preferred to darker ones - the lighter the better. It is also well known that the lighter your skin, the more likely you are to be successful in life, to get better jobs, promotions, etc. Presumably people on these websites would prefer to meet people with white skins. Is that racism ?

Yes. Unequivocally and indubitably.
